The 2 Bears, in not so many words, are pretty fucking rad. Raf Rundell and Joe Goddard have a good thing going as The 2 Bears and it seems as though they are going from strength to strength. With their strange yet fantastically addictive ‘Bear Hug‘ and now new ‘Work‘ I have a good feeling about these guys. 2011 was undoubtedly Joe Goddard’s year, with releases like Gabriel cementing his place in many people’s playlists and hearts.

The 2 Bears – Work download

Work
is a piano-laced dream. It has a slight tang of the 90’s with the now distinctive vocals of The 2 Bears (see if you can spot a little sample from Bear Hug). It is a light tune. full of summery vibes. If the track isn’t 90s enough for you at 3:00 get ready for some babin femme vocals to blow your mind and bring the track to a delicious techy end.

The 2 Bears – Work (Oliver $ Remix) download

This Oliver $ Remix is one my faves, it’s a lot sultrier and clubby, yet is a little sparse with the piano. It is a funky little daytime version of the original, so it’s definitely one for those more inclined on grooving and giving that hip of yours a work out.

The 2 Bears – Work (Supabeatz Remix) download

This should be paired with a dress so short that you would only wear it on Saturday night with a cheap bottle of champagne. The piano is lovingly placed in a great buildup, with the femme vocal weaved in for that extra tingle of excitement. Just simply, I can see bitches and men trying to get said bitchez alike enjoying this in the club.

The 2 Bears – Work (Franky Rizardo Remix) download

Franky Rizardo brings this track down, deep down with a tropical twist. This makes me feel like being in a small dark club hanging in the vip with Donkey Kong and of course Funky Kong (because he is clearly the cooler one – who else could carry a bandanna  that well).

The Toddla T Remixwasn’t my thing and you know what your mother says “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all”.
