So having a broken bone means lots of sitting around doing nothing. Its not a good idea to be blaring block rockin choons that make me want to dance — because thats just too depressing, i can’t dance.
The next best thing is smooth soulful choonage that makes you wish living on the milkyway was really possible.
When you find songs that really make you feel this way, its almost as good as a really hygienic orgy.
These songs are good enough to help you drift into a blissful sleep, good enough to eat cupcakes and drink tea to, good enough to drive to, good enough for just about most things.
♫ The Whitest Boy Alive – Golden Cage (Fred Falke Remix)<–♥
Okay, i know this is as old as a Nun’s first wet dream, but it is absolutely magical. I think it is one of my all time favourite songs so i definitely could not pass up posting this here.
♫ Appoloosa – The Day We Fell In Love (James Kane Remix)<–♥
Ah, this is so dreamy and creamy and wonderful and marshmellowy and awesome. Mr. Kane is pretty amazing for a 17 year old kid.
♫ Gui Boratto – No Turning Back
You have to wait a little while for the lyrics to begin, but there is something about those lyrics that are so haunting. This song is amazing.
♫ Cleast Eatwood – Electric Feel (MGMT Cover)
Love love love. Its slow and amazing and just as good as the original. Cleast Eatwood have done some good work, check out their myspace.
♫ The Eels – The Look You Give That Guy
Such a sad and honest song. I’m sure everyone has felt like this at one point. I remember the first time i heard this song and i felt i just melted away with the lyrics.
♫ Regina Spektor – Blue Lips <–♥
Ah this song is absolutely wonderful. I forgot how much i loved Regina Spektor. Look out for her new album on the 30th of June!
